The Goal?

?
Is the goal to make a difference, to make a change, to be a significant impacter, to lead, to be great, to share your story, to have a story, to be talker, to be a listener, to be a defender, to be commited, to be passionate, to be real, to be true, to know what truth is, to take in, to give out? What is the goal?? To live with reason, to be a reason, to recognize, to be recognized, to know what purpose is, to live with dignity, to live with humility, to live with confidence, to care, to love, to be loved, to be thought of, to think of, to invent, to hope, to dream, to have goals, to reach your goals, to be successful, to be happy, to know what happiness is, to be satisfied, to be comfortable, to want more, to need more, to keep living, to know more, to escape, to rescue, to create, to recreate, to copy, to be different, to know what difference is, to be original, to matter, to make someone matter, to know what matters, to know what the goal is? What is the goal?

The truth is that humanity was made for a purpose. Without purpose we may feel like life is vain. What good do even simple life pleasures have without the purpose of life.

God made man and woman. There was the ability to know and be close to God in this context of Adam and Eve. I think there is a place in humanities' heart that is broken for the simple notion that they do not share within close proximity, a relationship with their creator.

There is a craving within the heart of creation to know and be known by the creator of everything. I feel this way. Sometimes I do not understand why I feel like life is so pointless and feel like life can be vain, but I realize something. I have not attempted to seek out my maker.
The neatest thing is that there can be hope that God is tangible and reachable.  Though sometimes is may feel this way God is not a distant being. He has made himself available to us. But only if we seek him.
"If you seek me you will find me when you seek me with all of your heart." Jeremiah 29:13
The word seek is not something to be taken lightly, I mean seeking someone is not a simple "hello are you out there?" It is a pursuit!
The Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years before they finally reached the promised land.

I put the word promised in bold because God promised that to them! He makes us promises and we need to trust that he keeps the promises he makes. This is a promise Jesus made during the sermon on the mount:
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. " Matthew 7:7-8

Jesus goes on to make a metaphor right after saying this:

Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?

If you, though you are naturally evil people, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
Matthew 7:9-11

God gives good gifts to us. Whenever we ask for something, he will not return us with a curse instead of a blessing, he will answer.
I can tell you this: There are many things that I have prayed many years ago, and have even forgotten. But to this day he has remembered those things and has brought many of them to my memory by answering. I know that when I lose faith, he doesn't. He is not hindered by my ability to believe.  And he is not hindered by yours either.

Back to the pursuit of God:

I can tell you that there a very distinct moments that God has shown up in my life. I have seen him there undoubtably. Many times I hear his voice as my thoughts but there have been defined times where it was undoubtably him.

He will do this if you seek him.
He is faithful.

He has given me clarity through vivid dreams.
He has healed me.
He has healed my family members.
He has baptized me with His holy spirit ( when I didn't even want it to happen!)
He has spoken through people to me.
I have seen a vision of the cross.
I have audibly heard his voice.
There are others which sometimes I don't remember
but He will remind me of them from time to time.

Friends, I wish this was everyday. I wish it so much that I could cry. You will never know a greater place than in His presence.  I wish I encountered Him this deeply more often. But it has been through many years and through my constant seeking that I have encountered my vivid encounters with Him. But He is faithful to show up, He will meet you with quiet whispers and He will meet you with hurricanes.
Let me tell you this: He satisfies and the world will not. Knowing Him is enough.
Feeling Him is enough. When I go through times that I do not seek Him, life feels vain. He is constantly calling us to Himself: to know Him, to feel Him, to Hear Him, to see Him.
He will encounter us in small whispers along the way. Seek Him.

What is the goal?
It is in the very heart of humanity itself. Creation calling for the creator. The one we long for, the reason for our very being. I pray that we all find Him, when we seek Him with all of our heart.

Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son
John 14:13

May God Bless you in your seeking and in your finding.
